Bosnia Relief provides aid to a group of Type-1 Insulin dependent diabetic children who live in one of the poorest Cantons in Bosnia. Zavidovici is a town north of Sarajevo. The children range in age from 6 to 19. Insulin is provided for most of the children, but they do not have access to the supplies needed to monitor and control their disease. Many of the parents are unemployed and two of the fathers are disabled from the war and cannot provide for their families. Bosnia Relief has supplied funds and diabetic medical supplies since 2004.
