Roma Children

Bosnia Relief has partnered with Save the Children – UK, Bosnia-Herzegovina to help integrate Roma children into mainstream primary education in Bosnia through direct support by providing vital school supplies, equipment and bags for the children. The Roma children are one of the most marginalized groups in Bosnia and poverty affects all aspects of their lives. They often beg in the streets. 

Bosnia Relief has worked with Save the Children, UK since 2001 providing aid to refugees in Sarajevo and Tuzla, many who were  refugees from Srebrenica living in collective centers in northern Bosnia. Goats were donated to single mothers who were returning to their villages.
